Olive Branch waltzed into their matchup on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Overton Wolverines 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Conquistadors, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Olive Branch pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Overton, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olive Branch will venture away from home to take on Center Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Overton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Whitehaven at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Overton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
