Baseball Recap: Blackstone Valley RVT Comes Up Short

Blackstone Valley RVT was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Boston English Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Beavers have lost by just one run.

Max Pilkington made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Alex Vosburgh, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Blackstone Valley RVT's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Boston English, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blackstone Valley RVT will head out to take on Northbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boston English, they will square off against Weston at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
