Preview: Valley Center vs. El Camino

Valley Center will take on El Camino at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. Valley Center will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

It was a close one, but last week the Jaguars sidestepped Ramona for a 38-35 victory. Valley Center's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Frank Stehly, who passed for 216 yards and three TDs, and Kyler Riche, who rushed for 208 yards and one TD on 40 carries. Stehly has been a consistent playmaker for Valley Center as this was the third good game in a row from him. Stehly scored four touchdowns overall-- his season high.

Meanwhile, El Camino didn't have too much breathing room in their contest with Oceanside, but they still walked away with a 28-24 win.

Their wins bumped Valley Center to 6-4 and El Camino to 4-6. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this game. Who will it be? Check back in with MaxPreps after the game is over for details.
