After losing to Apopka the last time they met, Horizon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hawks came out on top against the Blue Darters by a score of 8-5 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

The team relied heavily on Sebastian Davila, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Singer, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Horizon's record is now 13-11. As for Apopka, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Horizon will square off against Riverview at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Apopka, they will face off against St. Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Darters 3.4, the Bulldogs 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
