Horace proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the West Fargo Packers. Winning may never get old, but Horace sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Austin Ohleen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.
On the hitting side, Horace's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jett Collins, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
Horace's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for West Fargo, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
