Granbury has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 17. They fell just short of the Saginaw Rough Riders by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Pirates couldn't quite close it out.

Granbury's loss dropped their record down to 0-5-5. As for Saginaw, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Azle the next time they take the pitch. Saginaw will host Azle at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Granbury will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 31st.
