Baseball Recap: Narbonne Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Narbonne barely beat Legacy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gauchos put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-2 win on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Gauchos, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Adrian Leyva spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Raul Izquierdo, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. Steven Rodriguez was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Narbonne's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Legacy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Coming up, Narbonne will venture away from home to challenge Gardena at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.19 runs per game on average), something the Gauchos will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Legacy, they will square off against South Gate at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
