Softball Recap: Medway Takes a Loss

Medway couldn't beat Westwood on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Mustangs came up short against the Wolverines, falling 16-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost three in a row.

Medway now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Westwood, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Medway has already played their next match, a 16-2 win against Ashland on the 30th. As for Westwood, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Bellingham on the 30th.
