Baseball Recap: New Brockton Comes Up Short

New Brockton lost against Houston Academy back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. New Brockton came up short against Houston Academy, falling 8-2. The match marked the Gamecocks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

New Brockton saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Hand, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

New Brockton now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Houston Academy, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-12 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Brockton will square off against Bullock County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Brockton is facing Bullock County at the right time seeing as Bullock County is stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Houston Academy, they will face off against Pike Liberal Arts at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
