Cannon benefitted from Pandey in 4-3 defeat
While Cannon might've come up empty on Friday, Avi Pandey wasn't going down without a fight. Hickory Grove Christian had no answer to Pandey as he tossed seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
Pandey and Cannon will play host again on Thursday to welcome Charlotte Country Day School, where first pitch is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Cannon has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
