Volleyball Recap: Cokeville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Farson-Eden last Friday, Cokeville came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Little Snake River Rattlers on Friday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Rattlers from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Cokeville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-8, 25-17, 25-21.

Cokeville's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 14-11. As for Little Snake River, they pushed their record up to 24-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cokeville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Encampment on the 18th. As for Little Snake River, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Farson-Eden on the 18th.
