Baseball Recap: North Shore Wins Going Away Against Malverne

North Shore came out on top against Malverne on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Vikings were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Mules. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 16-1 on Tuesday.

North Shore has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.0 runs this season. As for Malverne, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

North Shore will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mules: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
