Basketball Recap: Lewis Central Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Lewis Central has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 62-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sioux City North Stars on Monday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lewis Central's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Sioux City North, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-5.

Lewis Central has already played their next contest, an 80-56 defeat against Kuemper on the 31st. As for Sioux City North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 76-37 loss against Lincoln on the 28th.
