Basketball Recap: Verona Triumphs

Verona came into Tuesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the West Caldwell Tech Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hillbillies have posted since December 19, 2024.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for West Caldwell Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.

Verona will face off against KIPP Newark Lab at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Caldwell Tech, they will head out to take on Newark Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
