Basketball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline lost against Central Plains back in March of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Skyline Thunderbirds were dealt a 49-18 loss at the hands of the Central Plains Oilers. The game marked the Thunderbirds' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Skyline is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. As for Central Plains, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Skyline Thunderbirds take on the Fairfield Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Skyline is facing Fairfield at the right time seeing as Fairfield is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Central Plains has already played their next contest (against Victoria), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
