It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Miramonte can now relate to. They fell 11-6 to the Biggs Wolverines on Thursday. The Matadors' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lucy Daoust made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Maddie McKim was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Miramonte's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Biggs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 22 of their last 23 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3-1 record this season.

Miramonte does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Biggs, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against King City at 4:00 p.m. The Wolverines will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests.
