It was a good run, but Pepperell unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Dalton Catamounts. The Dragons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Catamounts from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

Pepperell's offense was headlined by Millie Hopper and Piper Hillis, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Brinkley Wheat and her seven assists.

Dalton found their leader in sophomore Mia Garcia, who had 11 assists.

Pepperell's loss dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Dalton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-10 record.

Pepperell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Armuchee on the 30th. Dalton has also already played their next matchup (against Ooltewah), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
