Basketball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 54-33 to the Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays. The Greyhounds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Blue Jays from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Manchester has already played their next game (against Eastern), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will be playing at home against Clay at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
