Softball Recap: Boyne City Comes Up Short

Boyne City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pinckney Pirates, falling 13-3.

Boyne City's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Pinckney, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 20-11-1.

Boyne City has already played their next match, a 17-5 victory against Kingsley on the 20th. As for Pinckney, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Tecumseh at 4:30 p.m.
