It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Narragansett can now relate to. They took a 58-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Kingstown Skippers on Tuesday. The Mariners' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Narragansett lost, don't look at Grace Blessing. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 17 points and 16 boards. Those 16 rebounds gave Blessing a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Caffrey, who posted ten points.

Narragansett's defeat dropped their record down to 22-3. As for North Kingstown, the victory (which was their 18th in a row) raised their record to 26-1.

Narragansett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Kingstown, they have already played their next contest, a 35-26 loss against Moses Brown on the 15th.
