Basketball Recap: Northwood-Kensett Takes a Loss

Northwood-Kensett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the West Fork Warhawks 75-29. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 321st, while the Warhawks are ranked 68th).

Northwood-Kensett's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for West Fork, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Northwood-Kensett has already played their next contest (against North Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Fork will face off against Newman Catholic at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
