Volleyball Recap: Haven Wildcats vs. Cheney Cardinals
It was a proper cat-fight when Haven challenged Cheney on Monday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.
Haven may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 21 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21.

Despite the loss, Haven still got an impressive performance from Mayzie Warden, who had 20 digs. Warden is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Cheney was led to victory by Kenadi Thome and Lucy Fouquet. Thome had 12 digs and two assists, while Fouquet had seven digs.
This is the second loss in a row for Haven and nudges their season record down to 17-20. As for Cheney, they have been performing well recently as they've won 21 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season.
Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Nickerson on the 20th. Cheney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
