Basketball Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Granville Blue Aces and fell 68-15. While losing is never fun, the Cougar can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 793rd, while the Blue Aces are ranked 99th).

Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Granville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Cristo Rey nor Granville have any future games scheduled.
