Football Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Mid Valley Spartans, falling 28-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Invaders of the 35-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mid Valley, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Scranton will face off against rival Western Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mid Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Dunmore at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
