Softball Game Preview: Hardin Valley Academy Hawks vs. Oak Ridge Wildcats

The Hardin Valley Academy Hawks will face off against the Oak Ridge Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither Hardin Valley Academy nor Oak Ridge posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Wednesday, Hardin Valley Academy came up short against Knoxville Central and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Oak Ridge fell victim to Halls and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 15-0.

Hardin Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Oak Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
