Volleyball Recap: Prosper Triumphs

Prosper won the last time they faced Celina and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bobcats.

Despite the loss, Celina saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addilyn Paulson had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs set a new season-high mark for Paulson. Paislee Brownell also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

The win got Prosper back to even at 7-7. As for Celina, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Prosper has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Tascosa on the 22nd. As for Celina, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Argyle on the 22nd.
