Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Eisenhower lost against MacArthur last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eisenhower took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of MacArthur. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eisenhower saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Gourley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for MacArthur, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Looking ahead, Eisenhower will take on Spring at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eisenhower will need to watch out since Spring has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for MacArthur, they will square off against Aldine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. MacArthur is on a four-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Aldine a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
