Volleyball Recap: Countryside Christian Takes a Loss

Countryside Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Crescent City on Saturday. The Minutemen fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1.

Crescent City found their leader in sophomore Reagan Chayer, who had 20 digs and three aces. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Chayer. Audrah Lewis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Countryside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Crescent City, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Countryside Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Meadowbrook Academy on the 6th. As for Crescent City, they will host St. Joseph Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
