Softball Recap: Escambia County Blue Devils vs. Satsuma Gators

Escambia County is still looking for their season's first win. They lost 18-0 to the Satsuma Gators on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Escambia County of the 15-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

For Satsuma's part, Bralee Byrd made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Byrd was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-2 with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.

In other batting news, Aisha Martinez was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Lorali Miller was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
