Basketball Recap: Locke Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Gate, Locke was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Animo Robinson Monarchs by a score of 52-44. That's more bragging rights for the Saints, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Monarchs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Taejon Durham, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and four steals. Durham has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Eli Martinez was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.
