Basketball Game Preview: Seneca East Tigers vs. Wynford Royals

The Seneca East Tigers will take on the Wynford Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca East will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Seneca East didn't have too much trouble with Buckeye Central as they won 49-35. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Bucks are ranked 453rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wynford). They really took it to Bucyrus for the full four quarters, racking up a 63-33 victory. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Royals had established a 25 point advantage.

Wynford has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for Seneca East, their win bumped their record up to 13-4.

Seneca East didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Wynford when the teams last played on January 7th, but they still walked away with a 48-42 victory.
