Baseball Recap: Milan's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Milan and Lakeland Preparatory squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Milan had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 11-1 to the Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Wednesday.

Milan's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-18. As for Lakeland Preparatory, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Milan nor Lakeland Preparatory have any future games scheduled.
