Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Takes a Loss

St. Patrick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the Clay Panthers 57-29. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Saints came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 279th in Kentucky, while the Panthers are ranked 851st in Ohio).

St. Patrick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 3-19.

St. Patrick has already played their next game (against Covington Latin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Clay, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-47 loss against Federal Hocking on the 18th.
