Basketball Game Preview: Eupora Eagles vs. Calhoun City Wildcats + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Eupora Eagles and the Calhoun City Wildcats will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Eupora is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Kosciusko last Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles had to suffer through a 79-46 loss at the hands of the Whippets. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Whippets: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Calhoun City was able to grind out a solid win over Shannon two weeks ago, taking the game 61-51. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Red Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Calhoun City's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eupora, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Eupora couldn't quite get it done against Calhoun City in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 as they fell 75-67. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
