Godby won the last time they faced Crossroad Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Godby Cougars walked away with a 68-56 win over the Crossroad Academy Scorpions. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Godby's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Rose, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mekhi Butler, who scored nine points.

Godby was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crossroad Academy only racked up six assists.

Crossroad Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Camari Hale, who had 25 points and four steals. That's the most points Hale has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Forrest Dudley, who earned 13 points.

Godby is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Crossroad Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
