Baseball Recap: Eastview Takes a Loss

Eastview fell victim to Rosemount and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Irish. The Lightning just can't catch a break and have now endured nine defeats in a row.

Eastview's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Rosemount, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastview is set to challenge their familiar foe Apple Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Rosemount will face off against rival Lakeville South at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Irish 4, the Cougars 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
