Soccer Game Preview: Metropolitan vs. Bayside

Metropolitan will square off against the Bayside Commodores at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Metropolitan sitting on three straight victories and Bayside on five.

Metropolitan proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by four) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. Their defense stepped up to hand Bronx High School of Science a 1-0 shutout.

Meanwhile, Bayside was not the first on the board on Wednesday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Madison.

Bayside's victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Metropolitan, their win bumped their record up to 7-1-1.
