Basketball Game Preview: Lee Williams Volunteers vs. Mohave Thunderbirds

The Lee Williams Volunteers will square off against the Mohave Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Lee Williams was beaten by Mingus 70-29. While losing is never fun, the Volunteers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while the Marauders are ranked 58th).

Meanwhile, Mohave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Mingus and fell 62-26.

Lee Williams' defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Mohave, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
