Guymon is 8-2 against Guthrie since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Bluejays at 7:00 p.m. Guymon will be strutting in after a victory while Guthrie will be coming in after a defeat.

Guymon's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Carl Albert by a score of 2-0. That's two games straight that Guymon have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Guthrie fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Western Heights on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Jets by a score of 3-2. Guthrie's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Guthrie's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Guymon, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Guymon beat Guthrie 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
