Volleyball Recap: Fort Bend Elkins Gets the Win

Fort Bend Elkins won the last time they faced Pflugerville Connally and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars.

While Fort Bend Elkins won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-19.

Nidhi Dronavalli paced Fort Bend Elkins' offense, picking up five kills. Dronavalli got some help from Hailee Collins and her 11 assists. Aisha Dowadu controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fort Bend Elkins' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Pflugerville Connally, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fort Bend Elkins didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Crockett on the 14th. As for Pflugerville Connally, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Vista Ridge on the 14th.
