Softball Recap: Galesburg-Augusta Takes a Loss

Galesburg-Augusta lost against Kellogg back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rams came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Galesburg-Augusta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilli Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Galesburg-Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Kellogg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.

Looking ahead, Kellogg will square off against Allegan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Galesburg-Augusta will be paying especially close attention to the Panthers' match: after the Panthers face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Galesburg-Augusta again at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
