Football Game Preview: McDonough Warhawks vs. Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers

After each having a week off, the McDonough Warhawks and the Eagle's Landing Christian Academy Chargers will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McDonough has given up an average of 29 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Two weeks ago, McDonough took a blow against Stockbridge, falling 47-7. The Warhawks have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Eagle's Landing Christian Academy owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance two weeks ago. They blew past Woodland 27-0. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Chargers just coasted through the last quarter.

McDonough better keep an eye on Cason Carrigan. He was instrumental in Eagle's Landing Christian Academy's win, rushing for 140 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also throwing for 111 yards and one touchdown while completing 83.3% of his passes.
