Sherman Oaks CES won the last time they faced East Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Knights blew past the Falcons 14-3. Considering the Knights have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Nicholas Bilicic made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Matthew Perez, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Colin Hauser was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-5.
Sherman Oaks CES always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Valley only posted an OBP of .286.
