Briggs is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Grandview Heights just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 13-3 to the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, Bishop Ready came up short against Licking Heights on Thursday, falling 8-2.

Bishop Ready saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Mutnich, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Briggs' defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Bishop Ready, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
