It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lemoore had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They beat the Sierra Pacific Golden Bears by a goal, winning 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lemoore's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Sierra Pacific are ranked 640th).

Brian Delgado and Keaton Lopez scored both of Lemoore's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Lemoore has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those six matches. As for Sierra Pacific, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8-6.

Lemoore didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against San Joaquin Memorial on the 18th. Sierra Pacific does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
