Volleyball Recap: Reavis Falls Despite Big Games from Francine Chua and Quetzalli Pichardo-Aich

Reavis was the 2-0 winner over Thornton Fractional South when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams fell just short of the Red Wolves by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Quetzalli Pichardo-Aich and Francine Chua certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Pichardo-Aich had eight digs and eight assists, while Chua had seven digs and two aces. Ivette Mendoza also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Reavis has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Thornton Fractional South, their record is now 11-8.
