Volleyball Recap: Live Oak Classical Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Faith Academy, Live Oak Classical was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Keystone Cobras by a score of 3-1. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Cobras walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Live Oak Classical got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 28-30, 29-27.

Stella Sriram paced Live Oak Classical's offense, picking up 17 kills. Sriram got some help from Mia Flynn and her 21 assists. Sriram was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Live Oak Classical's win bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Keystone, they dropped their record down to 0-9-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Live Oak Classical and Keystone will both be playing Central Texas Christian the next time they take the court. The Cobras will host the Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
