The matchup between Rangeview and Lincoln on Thursday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Raiders put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 21-1 win. The Raiders have not had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Raylene Heredia-Ruiz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 2 innings while giving up just 1 earned run off 2 hits. She also struck out four batters, her most this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 1-for-1 while posting 3 stolen bases and 2 runs. The game marked her second in a row with at least two stolen bases.
In other pitching news, Heredia-Ruiz also looked comfortable as she pitched 2 innings while giving up just 1 earned run off 2 hits. She also struck out four batters, her most this season.
Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Devyn Davenport, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances while logging 4 RBIs, 2 runs, and 2 walks.
