Baseball Recap: Alexander Central Starts off Right with Win over Davie

Alexander Central took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Davie War Eagles 5-4. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered an 8-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dillion Church looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Alexander Central let Maddix Reese and Wyatt Smith run wild. Reese scored a run while going 1-for-3, while Smith scored a run while going 2-for-3.
