Baseball Recap: Wake Forest Cougars vs. Holly Springs Golden Hawks
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wake Forest walked away with it. They came out on top against the Holly Springs Golden Hawks by a score of 9-5 on Tuesday. Wake Forest got a great performance from Jackson Hardy as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave Hardy a new career-high.
